Danny Nguyen Couture at New York Fashion Week 2026: Behind the Scenes with Fashion Channel

From September 10–15, 2026, Danny Nguyen Couture had the opportunity to experience New York Fashion Week through our partnership with Fashion Channel, a Milan-based international fashion media company. Danny Nguyen produced and led our New York Fashion Week coverage, working directly with Fashion Channel founder and chairman Marzio Nocera to interview designers and cover collections and events throughout the week. Our team attended shows including Antonio Marra, PUBLIC SERV-CE, and Max Esmail, as well as Global Fashion Collective events, while interviewing designers like Veejay Floresca and Caroline Zimbalist and recent Project Runway contestants.

This NYFW marked a new role for Danny within an industry he has been part of for years. Rather than attending solely as a designer, he stepped into the role of producer and fashion correspondent, connecting with designers and covering the people and events shaping New York Fashion Week. Danny also attended CFDA shows and events and presented a Danny Nguyen Couture trunk show as part of the Ethereal Show at the Tesla dealership in Manhattan, featuring one of our gowns. The week offered a different perspective on the fashion industry while creating new connections beyond the traditional designer role.

For Danny Nguyen Couture, this new role at New York Fashion Week represents another step in expanding the reach of our Houston-based couture house and bringing Houston’s fashion perspective to a larger, international fashion community. As Danny continues to build connections between Houston and the broader fashion industry, DNC remains focused on creating distinctive custom couture while growing its presence in new spaces, new cities, and new conversations in fashion.
